Rado’s True Square Thinline Les Couleurs Le Corbusier Collection

For those of us who collect watches, we’re well aware of the many “groups” which carry multiple brands under one umbrella. Swatch, a personal favourite of mine, carries brands like Breguet, Omega, Glashütte Original, Longines, and many other notable brands.

However, one brand in the Swatch Group conversation, in particular, deserves much praise regarding its revolutionary work with different case materials and for its role in the evolution of high-tech ceramic. Today, we’re discussing a colourful take on the high-tech ceramic-based True Square Thinline collection: the True Square Thinline Les Couleurs Le Corbusier Collection.

The Rado True Square collection is a stunning example of artistic expression paired with Swiss-made precision. Staying true to the modern artistic aesthetic carried across all variations of the True Square, it’s fitting that the newest True Square collection pays homage to an architectural design icon, Charles-Édouard Jeanneret, better known as Le Corbusier. For those unaware, Le Corbusier pioneered modernism in architecture and design, creating impressive structures worldwide, as well as beautiful paintings, sculptures, drawings, and tapestries.

Unsurprisingly, the True Square Thinline Les Couleurs Le Corbusier Collection follows suit with its beautiful modern design and unique colour choices. All three models are limited to 999 pieces (of each variation): the neutral, cozy and calm Grey/brown (ref. R27046172/ CAD 3,300), the bold, colourful and stunning Grey/English Green (ref. R27045162/ CAD 3,300), and last–but not least–the sleek and classic Ivory Black (ref. R27062152/ CAD 3,000). Each colour variation is a take on the traditional colours in watchmaking paired with an homage to the creativity and use of colour by the legendary Le Corbusier.

All three variations feature a 37mm high-tech ceramic case and a high-tech ceramic bracelet for excellent wearability and sleek sizing for all occasions while being powered by the Rado Calibre R420 quartz movement–reliable, precise, and convenient.
