Sartory-Billard marks its tenth anniversary with the SB10, a jumping hour watch that rethinks how time is displayed. Hours appear through a large aperture at six o’clock, while minutes are indicated by a rotating sapphire disc with a luminous ring and red marker. The effect is clear, but also slightly unconventional—less about precision at a glance, more about the rhythm of time passing.
The most immediate departure, however, is the absence of a traditional dial. In its place sits a fixed cabochon—offered in guilloché steel or smoked sapphire for the initial release—mounted externally like a stone. It’s a tactile approach that shifts the focus toward material and surface, giving each piece a distinct presence on the wrist.

Inside, the watch is powered by a La Joux-Perret G100 calibre with a patented jumping hour module and a 55-hour power reserve. The 39.5 mm steel case keeps proportions familiar, while production will be limited to small annual batches. Pricing begins at €3,800 before tax.
