Oris gives us a taste of watermelon

You know that summer is just around the corner when brands break out their playful dials. Just this week, ORIS launched two new colourways in the Aquis Collection and they are calling the duo a “Taste of Summer.”

The new Aquis Dates are both 41.50 mm in diameter and infused with summer fun. The watermelon-inspired dials are available in refreshing green or sunny red. Like other models in the collection, the new Aquis feature stainless steel cases and three-link bracelets, and a uni-directional rotating bezel with ceramic insert. They are water resistant to 300m.

But if you like what you see, be sure to act fast. These are part of a one-off run. So once they’re gone…they’re gone for good.

Vulcain releases five new colourways in the Skin Diver Nautique for summer

Not to be outdone in the summer fun department, Vulcain is also releasing four new iterations of the popular Skin Diver Nautique—including models in bronze and gold.

Inspired by the 1960s, the Nautique comes in a 38mm case and is powered by the Swiss workhorse ETA 2824. They feature high contrast dials and are water resistant to 200m.

The most surprising release might be the new gold-coloured PVD iteration with the matte blue dial and matching ceramic bezel insert. However, equally stylish is the matte black in bronze, which also features a matching ceramic insert.

The more playful releases include dials in striking orange, tropicalized brown, and forest green.
