On Spec: YEMA Rallygraf x ALPINE Collection

The FIA World Endurance Championship is a series at the highest pinnacle of motorsport. With the 24 hours of Le Mans days away, a special announcement and sponsorship opportunity has arisen for French brand YEMA. Announcing its partnership with the ALPINE Endurance Team for the next three seasons of the World Endurance Championship, its logo will be displayed on the ALPINE LM P2 (Le Mans Prototype 2) cars. With this partnership comes five new watches in collaboration with ALPINE, the new YEMA RALLYGRAF x ALPINE Collection.

All timepieces from YEMA x ALPINE Endurance Team’s collection are worn by racing pilots, mechanics and staff members set to compete on the legendary racing circuits of 24 Hours of Le Mans, SPA-Francorchamps or Monza.”

In motorsport, sponsorships mainly consist of the big brands: Rolex, TAG Heuer, Omega, Tissot, etc. However, seeing a “smaller” brand like YEMA making its way into motorsport, primarily through a prestigious series like the World Endurance Championship, makes me smile. YEMA has been creating gorgeous watches for years, especially with the Speedgraf, Rallygraf and Meangraf lines of chronograph timepieces, and it’s fantastic to see those watches getting their respective place in the world of fast cars and iconic race tracks.

There are five new watches in collaboration with ALPINE. The first is the Rallygraf A470 Limited Edition featuring an ETA 7753 ($2,190). However, there are also three Rallygraf x ALPINE Endurance Team Chronographs featuring the Seiko VK64 meca-quartz ($399) and a three-hander Rallygraf x ALPINE Endurance Team featuring the YEMA in-house calibre YEMA2000 ($990). The Rallygraf x ALPINE featuring the in-house calibre YEMA2000 will be fully unveiled on Saturday, June 10th, 2023, during the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
