DOXA and Hodinkee revive a military icon with the SUB Army 200T Limited Edition

DOXA has partnered with Hodinkee for the first time to introduce the SUB Army 200T For Hodinkee Limited Edition, a 250-piece collaboration inspired by one of the brand’s rarest military-issued dive watches. Based on the new 39 mm SUB 200T platform, the release draws on the original DOXA Army developed in 1969 for the Swiss Army’s elite combat divers. While the historic model has become one of the most sought-after vintage DOXA references, this modern interpretation brings its distinctive military styling into a more compact, everyday-wearable format.

The stainless steel case measures 39 mm in diameter, 10.7 mm thick, and offers 200 metres of water resistance without a helium escape valve, helping to maintain the watch’s slim profile. A textured sand-coloured dial is paired with a grey checkerboard minute track, matching date wheel, and a grey anodized aluminium countdown bezel. The bezel’s minute markers are left untreated during anodizing, allowing the brushed aluminium beneath to remain visible for a subtle vintage effect. Old Radium Super-LumiNova fills the bezel markings, while DOXA’s signature oversized orange hands provide strong contrast and legibility. Power comes from a Swiss automatic movement operating at 28,800 vph with a 38-hour power reserve.
