IWC Schaffhausen has expanded its Ingenieur Automatic 35 collection with a new stainless steel model featuring a fresh dial colour called Pool. Inspired by aquatic tones, the new shade is paired with the collection’s signature “Grid” dial pattern, rhodium-plated hands, and applied Super-LumiNova® hour markers. Housed in a 35mm stainless steel case with the Ingenieur’s integrated bracelet and distinctive five-screw bezel, the latest reference continues the evolution of Gérald Genta’s iconic 1976 design while offering a more compact wearing experience.

The new Ingenieur Automatic 35 (Ref. IW324902) combines satin-brushed and polished finishing across the case, bezel, and bracelet to create a dynamic interplay of light. A sapphire crystal caseback reveals the IWC Calibre 47110 automatic movement, decorated with Geneva stripes and circular graining and fitted with a gold-plated oscillating weight. The movement delivers a power reserve of 42 hours.

The introduction of the Pool dial expands the Ingenieur Automatic 35 collection to six references. Alongside the new model, the range includes stainless steel versions with silver-plated, black, and deep blue dials, an 18-karat 5N gold edition with a matching gold-coloured dial, and a recently introduced variant featuring an 18-karat 5N gold bezel set with diamonds. The continued expansion follows the successful return of the modern Ingenieur collection, first reintroduced in 2023 with the 40mm Ingenieur Automatic.
