Micromilspec Expands Its Horizons with New Dualtimer Pilot’s Watch and White Milgraph Limited Edition

By Brent Robillard

Good things come in twos

Micromilspec, the Oslo-based maker of rugged professional timepieces, is marking its return to Geneva Watch Days in style this year—launching two standout additions to its young but fast-maturing public collection. The Dualtimer introduces an entirely new “Pilot” category to the permanent range, while the White Milgraph offers a fresh, highly limited take on last year’s acclaimed chronograph-GMT hybrid.

Having spent time with earlier Micromilspec models like the FTU and the Hercules, I’ve come to expect a certain level of uncompromising build quality, purposeful design, and that very Norwegian mix of functional minimalism and field-ready toughness. Both of these 2025 releases look poised to carry that DNA forward—albeit in two very different directions.

The Dualtimer: First in Flight

While Micromilspec has produced pilot watches before—often as bespoke projects for military squadrons—the new Dualtimer marks the brand’s first permanent, stand-alone aviation model. It pairs a 42mm brushed stainless steel case with a Sellita SW330-2 automatic movement, giving wearers a 24-hour GMT function for tracking a second time zone.

True to its mission-built roots, legibility is king here. The “functional self-glowing” setup uses two shades of Super-LumiNova X1: blue on the bezel and GMT hand, green on the dial markers and main hands. The result is a clear separation between home and away time in low light—something professional pilots and frequent flyers alike will appreciate.

With 200 metres of water resistance, an open case back, and strap options in steel, leather, or rubber, the Dualtimer feels like a versatile travel companion that’s just as at home in a cockpit as it is on the tarmac.

The White Milgraph: Limited Edition Precision

If the Dualtimer is about opening a new chapter, the White Milgraph is a celebration of one that’s already a hit. Last year’s Milgraph—Micromilspec’s debut at Geneva Watch Days—sold out fast and earned award nominations for its distinctive blend of Grade 5 titanium construction, GMT functionality, and chronograph timing, all powered by the La Joux-Perret L121 automatic with a 60-hour reserve.

The new White Milgraph keeps the 42mm titanium case, reverse crown layout, and 200-metre water resistance, but swaps the original black dial for a crisp matte white version with the same grainy finish and clearly labelled sub-dials. Paired with the same mix of titanium bracelet or leather/rubber straps, it offers a sharper, more high-contrast aesthetic—perfect for collectors who missed the first run or those looking for a complementary piece.

Limited to just 75 units for 2025 (with the black dial version also capped at 75), the White Milgraph is positioned as both a thank-you to fans and a nod to the brand’s growing presence on the international stage.

Final Thoughts

Micromilspec’s military and professional contracts have always given it credibility in the “tool watch” conversation, but with the public collection now expanding into distinct land, sea, and air categories, the brand is beginning to shape a civilian portfolio that’s every bit as compelling.

Pricing and Availability

The Dualtimer (€1,670) brings accessible, purpose-driven pilot functionality into the permanent range, while the White Milgraph (€3,500) delivers an ultra-limited, high-spec evolution of an already proven design. Together, they show Micromilspec’s knack for balancing rugged, real-world utility with a clean, contemporary aesthetic—something that’s been a hallmark since my first hands-on with their watches.
