BA111OD Brightens the Chapter 7 Skeleton with a Summer-Inspired Finish

Swiss independent watchmaker BA111OD has introduced a new interpretation of its Chapter 7 Skeleton, drawing inspiration from the summer light and landscapes of Neuchâtel. While the technical specifications remain unchanged from the model unveiled in May, the latest release replaces the previous anthracite PVD finish with natural stainless steel, creating a brighter expression of the open-worked design. Buyers can choose between an integrated stainless steel bracelet or a frost blue rubber strap inspired by the reflections of Lake Neuchâtel.

The 40mm Chapter 7 Skeleton is powered by the Soprod P024 automatic skeleton movement, offering a 38-hour power reserve. Its vertically brushed and polished 316L stainless steel case is paired with an open-worked dial that showcases the movement’s architecture and ruby bearings beneath an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Additional features include a transparent caseback, a 4 o’clock crown engraved with the BA111OD emblem, 100 metres of water resistance, and a tool-free micro-adjustment system on the steel bracelet.

The launch campaign stars Neuchâtel-based wingfoiler Loïc Huguenin, whose connection to the lake and its changing conditions reflects the themes behind the new release. Founded in 2019 by Thomas Baillod, BA111OD designs and assembles its Swiss Made watches in Neuchâtel, with its tourbillon models produced in La Chaux-de-Fonds. The new Chapter 7 Skeleton will be available from August 2026, priced at CHF 895 (USD $1,295) on the frost blue rubber strap and CHF 955 (USD $1,380) on the stainless steel bracelet.
