YEMA has unveiled the new Granvelle Renaissance, a refined evolution of its architectural dress watch inspired by the historic Granvelle Palace in Besançon, France. Reinterpreted in a more compact 37.5mm format, the watch draws on the proportions and decorative motifs of the 16th-century Renaissance landmark, which today houses the Museum of Time in the heart of France’s traditional watchmaking region.

The Granvelle Renaissance features a newly redesigned cushion-shaped case measuring 37.5mm in diameter, 46.3mm lug-to-lug, and just 8.5mm thick. The case incorporates a sunray-brushed bezel, redesigned lugs with polished and vertically brushed surfaces, and a distinctive cushion-shaped crown developed specifically for the collection. Its multi-level dial features four distinct layers, including a central motif inspired by the geometric roof patterns of the Granvelle Palace. Applied indexes, polished hands, and Super-LumiNova BGW9 complete the display.
Powering the watch is YEMA’s manufacture Calibre CMM.29, a micro-rotor movement featuring a small seconds complication, 70 hours of power reserve, and a stated accuracy of -3/+7 seconds per day. Visible through a sapphire caseback, the movement is finished with rhodium-plated bridges and a Côtes de Genève sunray decoration. The Granvelle Renaissance is paired with a newly developed tapered leather strap and an exclusive stainless steel pin buckle designed to mirror the geometry of the case and crown. As with YEMA’s other manufacture models, the watch is designed, assembled, and regulated at the brand’s workshops in Morteau, France.
