TUDOR introduces the Black Bay Chrono 39 “Bumblebee”

TUDOR has expanded its Daring Watches collection with the introduction of the Black Bay Chrono 39 “Bumblebee,” a new chronograph distinguished by its bright yellow dial, contrasting black sub-counters, and more compact 39mm stainless steel case. Measuring 13.1mm thick, the latest Black Bay Chrono combines the collection’s motorsport-inspired heritage with the design language of TUDOR’s professional dive watches. The watch joins the existing “Pink” and “Flamingo Blue” models as one of the brand’s most colourful contemporary offerings.

The Black Bay Chrono 39 “Bumblebee” is powered by the COSC-certified Manufacture Chronograph Calibre MT5813, featuring a column-wheel architecture, vertical clutch, silicon balance spring, and a 70-hour power reserve. The movement is derived from Breitling’s B01 platform and is regulated by TUDOR to operate within a tighter tolerance than COSC certification requires. The dial retains signature Black Bay elements, including redesigned Snowflake hands for improved chronograph legibility, a 45-minute counter, and a date display positioned at 6 o’clock.

Completing the package is a new three-link stainless steel bracelet fitted with TUDOR’s “T-fit” rapid adjustment clasp, allowing tool-free sizing adjustments across five positions. Additional details include revised chronograph pushers inspired by second-generation TUDOR chronographs, a fixed tachymeter bezel with black anodized aluminium insert, and the brand’s five-year transferable guarantee. The Black Bay Chrono 39 “Bumblebee” is available now through authorized TUDOR retailers.
