Jack Mason Takes Flight (and Dive) Again: The Strat-o-timer Titanium Diver GMT

By Brent Robillard

Lighter, stronger

Jack Mason’s Strat-o-timer returns—this time lighter, stronger, and more travel-ready than ever. The new Strat-o-timer Titanium Diver GMT takes everything we loved about the original stainless steel model and reimagines it in full Grade 2 titanium, pairing a true GMT movement with a dive-ready case for the ultimate dual-purpose tool watch.

When we first went hands-on with the Jack Mason Strat-o-timer back in 2023, we found a watch that successfully bridged worlds—part diver, part travel companion, and unmistakably Texas in its confidence. Fast-forward to the end of 2025, and the Strat-o-timer has evolved once again. This time, Jack Mason has taken the model into lighter, tougher territory with the introduction of the Strat-o-timer Titanium Diver GMT, constructed entirely from Grade 2 titanium.

Versatiltiy

According to Jack Mason CEO Peter Cho, the move came directly from community feedback:

“The Strat-o-timer has always been about functional versatility,” said Cho. “By introducing a full titanium build and pairing it with a true GMT movement and dive bezel, we’re giving enthusiasts the hybrid tool they’ve been asking for — a watch equally at home on a dive boat or an airport gate.”

Maintains the Strat-o-timer DNA
Details

The new model maintains the Strat-o-timer’s core DNA—a clean, balanced 40mm case (13mm thick, 47mm lug-to-lug) with a crisp ceramic bezel and sharp detailing—but now weighs roughly 30% less than its stainless-steel predecessor. The tactile 60-minute unidirectional dive bezel features a brushed ceramic insert filled with BGW9 Super-LumiNova, while the hands, markers, and bezel pip glow bright in low light.

Flyer GMT

Inside beats the Miyota 9075 “flyer GMT” movement, allowing independent adjustment of the local hour hand. Jack Mason has adjusted each movement to within ±5 seconds per day, a rarity in this price range. Add to that 200 meters of water resistance, a double-domed sapphire crystal, and a matching titanium bracelet with micro-adjust clasp, and you have a travel-ready diver that feels nearly weightless on the wrist.

Lightweight comfort

Cho sums it up perfectly:

“Titanium changes the wearing experience. You get more strength, but the watch almost disappears on the wrist—it feels like an extension of you.”
